On Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th January, the East Cheshire Hospice Christmas Tree Collection returned for its 20th year, raising money for the facilities based in Macclesfield.

By the end of Sunday, the collection had already raised over £103,000 for the hospice – the first time the total had topped the £100K mark! With gift aid, matched funding and sponsorship still to total up, the hospice is hopeful that this year’s collection will surpass the £130,000 raised in 2019, making it the most profitable Christmas Tree Collection since the collections started.

With volunteers collecting over 7,000 throughout Cheshire East over the weekend, we’re very proud to say that we played a small part in the events success, sponsoring one of the many vans used over the weekend. Pictured are volunteers Darren Taylor, Victoria Adinkra and Clive Acton of the LOVELIVE van proudly doing their part.
