This Christmas, the LOVELIVE team jumped on the Reverse Advent Calendar bandwagon to help people in our community that may struggle over the festive period.

We LOVE Christmas, but it can be a very lonely and desperate time for some people such as the elderly, victims of abuse, the homeless and people just struggling to make ends meet.

So, each day in the run up to Christmas we added food, toys and gift items to our readily prepared hampers in the LOVELIVE studio which we then donated to our chosen Macclesfield charity, ROAR – Reach Out and Recover based in Macclesfield.

About ROAR

ROAR are a non-profit, community based recovery housing organisation. They help people tackle their addictions and personal issues in a safe, secure and stable environment. They work with people to develop new and existing skills, which in turn helps them to give back to the community through fundraising events and volunteer work.
You can find out more about their fantastic work below

One of these events is the annual Christmas day dinner that ROAR provide for the homeless, lonely, elderly or anyone who can find Christmas difficult emotionally or financially.
This Christmas, the ROAR team provided meals and gifts for almost 100 people. Our hampers not only contributed to the gifts on Christmas day, but the ROAR team spent their time visiting homeless people on the streets and families at their homes who were struggling over the festive period.

We are proud to continually support ROAR in the fantastic work that they do.
